4-YEAR-OLD LEARNS TO READ VIRTUALLY

This student is in VPK getting ready for kindergarten. He had a firm grasp of his letter names and most sounds on his initial assessment. He knew very little sight words. This is his reading after two weeks of lessons. His sessions were 4 times per week for 30 minutes.

4-year-old after 6 weeks of instruction

After 6 more weeks of instruction, He can read at a level D independently. His instructional level is E. Watch how he is able to attack and blend CCCvC words. He is well on his way to reading on a first grade level and he hasn't entered kindergarten. This head start will allow him to feel confident in any kindergarten classroom.
